Anissa N. She attended North Carolina Central University as a student athlete after graduating from McColl High School in 1987. While in undergraduate school, Anissa completed an internship in Human Resources with Duke Temporary Services. Later, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Administration degrees both from North Carolina Central University.

While in graduate school, Anissa worked full time in the clinical research field. In 1993, immediately upon completing graduate school she was selected for a two-year public management internship with the New York State Department of Labor. Although she was offered a job and could have stayed in Albany, NY, Anissa moved back to the Triangle area where she worked in clinical research before getting married and relocating again.

In 1996, Anissa married Dr. Eric Davis and they moved to Nashville, TN where he earned his degree in dentistry. She began working at Caterpillar Financial Services in Human Resources in the areas of employee relations, worker’s compensation and benefits. While in Nashville in 1999, Anissa also became a very proud member of the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She and her husband remained in Nashville until they decided to return to North Carolina to be closer to family after having their first daughter, Alyssa.

Upon relocating to North Carolina, Anissa gained employment with the Town of Chapel Hill as the Assistant Human Resources Director. Later in 2003, she and her husband had another beautiful baby girl, Arica. In fact, while on maternity leave she was instrumental in assisting her husband open his first dental practice in Durham, North Carolina.

Anissa remained with the Town until she went to law school in 2007 and in 2010, she became a proud graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law. She is very passionate about helping others and as a result has practiced in various areas of law including bankruptcy, wills and estates, family law, personal injury, traffic and criminal.

Anissa has been in business for herself practicing law since 2011 and would not have it any other way. She is the founder of Graham-Davis Law Firm, PLLC. She enjoys hanging out with her husband, vacationing, reading, watching her girls play volleyball, and being with family.
