Calvin Lowery currently serves as the Assistant Director of Student Services, at Southwestern Law School. His major responsibilities include serving as the Director of Disability Services, Diversity Affairs Officer and Academic Counselor.
Calvin received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina A&T State University (Aggie Pride), and his JD from Southwestern Law School located in Los Angeles, CA. During his time as a student at Southwestern, Calvin had an opportunity to serve as the Western Region Black Law Students Association’s Vice-Chair and subsequently the National Vice-Chair for the National Black Law Students Association. Currently, Calvin serves as a faculty advisor to Southwestern’s local BLSA chapter, as well as, an advisor to the Western Region Black Law Students Association.
Calvin is committed to serving others whether that involves teaching in inner city public schools, supporting Know Your Rights efforts, serving our country in Iraq, or advocating on behalf of those who cannot advocate for themselves. Calvin admires all who choose to pursue a career in law and considers it an honor to assist them achieve that goal.
