Jamila Young is a lifelong believer of giving back and an advocate in assisting passionate “goal getters” to achieve their highest aspirations. She is a partner at Moore Legal Solutions where they focus on serving the ideas, life and legacy of their clients. Prior to her current role, she served for several years as a health policy and advocacy professional working in capacities such as a SME on the Health Insurance Marketplace, the Outreach and Communications Coordinator for Georgians for a Healthy Future and a Navigator for Grady Hospital Systems and Emory Urban Health Initiative throughout the state of Georgia.
Jamila is a native of Albany, Georgia and received her B.A. in English from Kennesaw State University and J.D. from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University School of Law. As a lifelong learner, she is currently working on her LLM in Health Law and Policy at Hofstra University. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., dedicated to serving her community in capacities such as mental health law seminars and the proud mother of one amazing son.
