Myeedah is a member of the class of 2006 from the first degree-granting historically black university, Lincoln University. For the past 10 years, she has provided legal administrative support at some of the top law firms in the new york city area. She has worked as a legal assistant, appellate paralegal, and executive assistant to the general counsel and coo of a prominent hedge fund. Originally from Brooklyn, NY and a member of the immigrant diaspora, she is committed to using her juris doctor degree to provide adequate legal representation as well as access to equal opportunity to members of the immigrant community. Currently, a 3L at Atlanta’s John Marshall University, she has served as a public service intern for the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs – Welcoming Atlanta and is currently an immigration law clerk for a private immigration firm.
