Whitney D. Baker is a J.D. candidate at Elon University School of Law. A native of Brunswick, Georgia, Whitney intends to practice in the area of immigration law. She also is interested in the areas of employment and labor law, and public policy. Prior to enrolling at Elon Law, Whitney earned her Masters of Public Administration, and a B.A. in Political Science from Georgia Southern University.
Ms. Baker has written and been published by the National Bar Association’s Civil Rights Law Section on legal topics relating primarily to human rights. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the Greensboro Bar Association. At Elon Law, Whitney serves as a Moot Court board member, a treasurer of the Black Law Students Association, and a representative of the Honor Council.
